Try our Organic Cotton Muslin Flat Diapers and you will be a believer. There are many reasons why flat cloth diapers have been used for centuries and are still widely used around the world. First of all, they allow for a customizable fit for babies on any size. For parents that have used them and other cloth diaper types, flats are usually their favorite and they report them as being the most leak free. Flat diapers are easy to clean, line dryable, super-soft, durable, economical and especially for our organic flats they are the most sustainable choice for our planet. These Muslin organic cotton flats come in two sizes.  The Newborn fits 6-12 pounds has unwashed dimensions of 20x28 inches and shrink to about 18x26 inches.  The Onesize fits 12-30 pounds has unwashed dimensions of 28x30 inches and shrinks to about 26x27 inches. The Onesize can be used on newborns as well but will be a little bulky until your baby grows into the Onesize. These diapers require folding to fit (see the folding diagrams below), the use of pins or diaper fasteners and waterproof diaper covers. If you have a little patience and are willing to learn to fold for a customized fit, flat diapers are far and away the least expensive way to comfortably diaper your baby.

Flat diapers have many other useful purposes such as dish towels, cleanups, burp cloths, lap pads, changing pads, bibs, wash cloths and baby wipes. With our two sizes you can find the best size for your particular purpose.

Washing Instructions - Prior to first use wash and dry on high temperatures with a mild detergent to remove the natural cotton oils from the unbleached fabric. This activates the absorbency of the diaper material. For routine laundering we recommend a short cycle wash in cold water, followed by a full-length cycle in hot water. Tumble dry medium or high or line dry. Do not use chlorine bleach or fabric softener.
