OsoCozy Bamboo Prefolds - 6 packs

CLEARANCE SALE - 30% OFF

Bamboo Prefold Diapers - Osocozy prefolds that you love are now available in an ultra soft bamboo cotton blend, made from 70% rayon (made with bamboo) and 30% organic cotton, grown and harvested according to GOTS International Standards for Sustainable Textile Production. These prefolds are extremely absorbent and luxuriously soft.

OsoCozy Prefolds are 100% Cotton - Unlike prefolds from more recognized national children's clothing brands which use a synthetic polyester filling between just two layers of cotton. Our diapers are a better value as they are thicker and more absorbent. Additionally, there is often an ammonia odor buildup in synthetics which you won't get in cotton diapers.

Two Basic Sizes - Those two sizes are the Infant 4x8x4 for 7-15 lbs and the Premium 4x8x4 for 15-30 lbs.  Don't be fooled by "One-Size" prefolds which will be bulky on newborns and have insufficient absorbency on larger babies.

Organic Prefold sizes. Organic prefolds come in both Traditional and Better Fit styles. There is an infant and premium size for each style. All sizes are attractively surged/edged in two-toned edging colors that allow for easy size identification. To understand the difference between Traditional and Better Fit see the section below the size chart and folding instructions below.

Giving a gift? These wonderful bamboo prefolds? come in attractive store-shelf packaging. Perfect for gift wrapping. Each package contains six diapers and comes with use and washing instructions on the back side in both English and Spanish. These super soft OsoCozy prefolds make a great baby shower gift. Add diaper covers for the complete cloth diapering system.

How to use prefold cloth diapers? Use these versatile cloth diapers at least three ways: fold around the baby and secure with fastener or pins (recommended: Traditional, longer length prefolds), fold along the panels for tri-fold cloth diapers then set into a snug fitted diaper cover without additional folding or fasteners (recommended: OsoCozy Better Fit, shorter length prefolds), or trifold and stuff into pocket diapers as cloth diaper inserts. Bamboo prefolds available in both Traditional and Better Fit sizes.

Bamboo Diapers Care: Bamboo prefolds can shrink significantly if washed and dried on high temperatures. Either use warm or cold water then air dry or dry on medium heat or size up understanding that you will have slightly smaller diapers. Please avoid the use of Borax and other soaps. These tend to make the diapers stiff and un-absorbent. Bamboo does better with the use of liquid detergents.

Sizing: Traditional (long) and Better Fit. Two sizes, Infant and Premium
Closure: None
Material: 70% rayon (made from bamboo) and 30% organic cotton
Brand: OsoCozy

OsoCozy Prefolds Sizing, Price, and Details

*Bamboo prefolds shrink about 9% in width and 13% in length. Just a little less than 100% cotton prefolds.

Traditional versus Better Fit

Traditional Fit prefold cloth diapers can be secured to baby with diaper pins or fasteners, or they can be placed in diaper cover and trifolded (sides folded over the middle) with the extra length then folded over in front or back for additional absorbency. See the first two images below. Also fold these diapers many additional ways, such as the angel wing fold, the bikini twist, and others. These versatile workhorses have been the standard since prefold diapers replaced flat diapers in the late 1960s.

Better Fit prefold diapers are sized to fit diaper covers when a simple tri-fold is used. See first image below. This results in a less bulky and more comfortable fit without extra layers folded over. Better Fit prefolds are 2.5 inches shorter in the Infant size and 5-6 inches shorter in the Regular or Premium sized traditional prefolds. The Premium size Better Fit has also been used as a medium size between the traditional Infant and Regular or Premium sizes. The Better Fit Premium will fit many babies from about 13-20 lbs.

Best prefold/insert hands down!

I've cloth diapered 5 children in 8 years and had 3 in diapers twice, so I feel qualified to say: these are the absolute best prefold/insert available! Super absorbent (overnight toddler use approved) and soft (even on the newest of skin) made with natural fibers and organic cotton. I only wish I had these with my first child <3

Best Prefold I have used.

These prefolds are super soft and very absorbent. More absorbent than plain cotton prefolds. I wish my whole stash was out of these prefolds and maybe a few of the osocozy unbleached cotton which are really good too.

Buy these!

Seriously stop hesitating and do it. I literally used these from day one until 9 months. Initially I folded onto her and secured with a snappi. When she outgrew that method, I trifolded and either stuffed in a pocket or laid in a cover. They're not enough absorbency for overnight, but man of all my diaper supplies this was by far the best bang for the buck.

Excellent product

Size one was perfect for our newborn up to a couple months old. Definitely worth buying. Very absorbent, cleaned up just fine. Size two was MASSIVE. So big they are still too big for my one year old. Those would work great as reusable puppy pads or rags but way too big for diapers. I would recommend sticking with size one and have some pocket diapers and use them as excess filler layers in the pockets when baby grows out of them.

Natural fibers instead of microfiber

I haven't used these yet, but I am excited to! This will be my second baby to cloth diaper and I am wanting to use natural fibers instead of microfiber which always ends up stinking. I am very interested in trying bamboo so I got some of these to try out while they were on sale and new. Made in Pakistan for anyone curious.
